In My Mailbox [1]

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren and is where we share the books we got through the week.

So, I've been pretty busy trying to add to my bookshelf. I don't when know I'm going to find time to read them, but I'm sure I can make time for some of these awesome reads!!

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
My sister read this a really long time ago and loved it. She lost her copy, so I had to track down a used one to get me started into the series. Sadly, I'm a late bloomer for the Mortal Instruments series.
City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1)

Graceling by Kristin Cashore
This is another series that I really want to try out.
Graceling (The Seven Kingdoms, #1)

My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent
This book has a really interesting concept. So I'm going to give it a go.
My Soul to Take (Soul Screamers, #1)

What's in your mailbox this week? Anything cool? Anything edible (yum)? Or as my friend would like - do you have a penguin in your mailbox - if yes, don't answer because someone will sick PETA on you :)

  1. Love all three books! Rachel Vincent in particular is such a fantastic writer!

  2. I haven't read the Mortal Instruments series either! I need to get on that!! Enjoy!

  17. Hi, thanx for stopping by
    Blythes & Books!
I have to admit I have only read 'City of Bones' so far, but the rest is already waiting for me. However, I'm ruined after reading 'The Infernal Devices', because 'The Mortal Instruments' can't top the Victorian Setting and the characters (read: WILL) in my opinion! Plus, the writing gets better as CC writes more.

Is 'My Soul to Take' the first installment of that series? I heard good things about it!

    Enjoy your books!

    1. Yep! It's the first in the Soul Screamer's series. I'm planning on reading The Infernal Devices series too, but now I will definitely wait until I'm done with The Mortal Instruments :)
