Vampire Diaries: The Last 2 Originals

I love books. I love movies. I love television. I love many things in fact, but these three particular things turn me into a giant potato...but an entertained potato. And I don't think there's a better kind of spud out there. If you're a Vampire Diaries fan, you know that there was an episode on tonight. If you're like me and slightly bonkers over VD, then you have already watched it and have squealed way too many times tonight. The epicness that was this beyond words...but I will try my best to produce them anyway.

If you haven't watched the episode then you need to catch up before you read this post. It's going to contain some be warned!

If you don't watch the show.... .... .... really? You don't watch it?....why?...I suggest getting the seasons and starting now! Better yet, the first two seasons are on Netflix Instant. There's no better time then the present :)

Now, for those of you who have seen Bringing Out the Dead. You know that the last two originals were undaggered by Elijah. We finally were able to see who they were. And alas, they were both very attractive males. Upon further investigation (imdb), I learned that one is named Finn (Casper Zafer) and the other Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic).

Of the two, we got more looks (and one line of dialogue) from Kol, but I believe Finn is the character that will get a flashback in an upcoming episode. Finn's character was also sporting some serious shoulder-length hair. It makes you wonder what era he got daggered in. I'm most curious about Kol, just because he seems much more of a mystery. I'm pretty excited in general that the writers revealed ALL of the Originals to us by this point. I thought we were going to have to wait until the end of the season. I'm very happy that they didn't drag it out! I just can't wait until next week's episode. There are some hints about Caroline and Klaus getting together, so we know the drama is going to be good! One thing is for sure...I don't know if I can handle a Klaus-less Vampire Diaries. I know he's evil, but the show wouldn't be the same without him. Hopefully he sticks around for a while. Here are some pictures from next week's episode to satisfy your VD crave!

Bonus: I first heard this song on The Big C and it had me in tears. They used the same song for Vampire Diaries and it worked it's magic once again. Check it out: Lullbye by Sia

What did you think of the episode? Were you shocked about the final twist? Did you expect there to be all guys and just Rebekah in the Original family? Comment below!
