I don't read new books until they're old, so I hope the question is not about 2012 releases--because I won't get around to those for some time!

The best book I've read this year, so far, is probably The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. (Yes, it took me that long! LOL!)

    1. That's awesome you have a signed one!!! If there was a book that you should own two copies of...this would be it. I love it! I'm glad you enjoyed it as well :)

    2. I'm just so happy it's doing so well! I had emailed Veronica back in January, like the day after I finished the book (which was like 3 days after it came out, haha) and we emailed back and forth about book plates, since I'm from RI, it's highly unlikely I'd ever get to meet her/go to one of her book signings... and she sent me a signed copy of the book instead! I was totally surprised and I got all fan girly in my post office. I don't think I've squee'd (is that a word?) so many times in my life. Seriously, it made my year. She is such an amazing person as well as a talented author. But we have to wait another 9 months for book 2!! I'm definitely keeping the signed copy in plastic and rereading my original copy until it falls apart. Then I'll read it some more. haha

    3. You are so lucky! I would have been fan girly as well...I'm fan girly just thinking how awesome it is she sent you a signed book! That is really so nice of her. I now love her book even more, which I didn't know was possible. And yes...squee'd is officially a word now :) Preserve the signed copy, lol! 9 months until book 2 is excruciating! I'll definitely be rereading the first one until then. Thanks for the awesome comments!
