I once compared Tuck Everlasting to J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan. Winnie is given a choice similar to Wendy's! =)

When I think of the Terminator franchise, my mind jumps back to the first movie and the love story; so I tend not to think of it as a mother-son story. But now you've got me wondering about mothers and sons in YA. I'm crazy about brother-sister teams, but never thought another mother-son teams until now. I'm going to keep my eyes peeled! Thanks! =)

    1. ooh, I've never thought about Tuck Everlasting and Peter Pan but I totally agree, they are very similar in Wendy/Winnie regards. Plus, I think that they have a more elevated writing style compared to Immortal Beloved.

I usually think of the Terminator move too (with Arnold Schwarzenegger). But I'm also a huge fan of the TV series which was much more mother-son centric.

I LOVE sibling teams. I actually like any duos. Thanks for stopping by :D

  2. Ohh! What Dreams May Come! That's a fantastic selection for this. And I never would have connected it to Brodi Ashton's series! Definitely have to check that book out now... thanks!

  3. Cate Tiernan's SWEEP series is one of my top three favorite book series of all time. I also really enjoyed her Balefire series. Have you read either or both? I'm glad you made the connection to Tuck Everlasting and Immortal Beloved. I've been dragging my feet on getting Immortal Beloved because I'm not entirely sold on the idea.
