Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion has been adapted into a movie by Summit Entertainment. It's release date is February 1st, 2013! Until then, a trailer has been released featuring Nicholas Holt and Teresa Palmer, two of my favorite young actors! Plus a trailer cameo of Analeigh Tipton (the hilarious babysitter in Crazy, Stupid, Love).

A zombie who yearns for a better life ends up falling in love—with a human—in this astonishingly original debut novel.

R is a zombie. He has no memories, no identity, and no pulse, but he has dreams. He doesn’t enjoy killing people; he enjoys riding escalators and listening to Frank Sinatra. He is a little different from his fellow Dead.

Not just another zombie novel, Warm Bodies is funny, scary, and deeply moving.

I haven't read this book, but I think the movie looks so incredibly funny! It could either be a classic like Zombieland or fall flat. Only time will tell!

[Side note: Doesn't Teresa Palmer look like a blonde Kristen Stewart in the movie poster? What's up with that?]

What do you think? Have you read the book? Will you see the movie? Thoughts below!

  1. I'm very excited to see Warm Bodies! And yes, Teresa Palmer looks like K. Stew in general. I kept thinking I saw her in a bunch of movie trailers, and it was just Teresa Palmer... guess she's an easy actress to market...

  2. I heard about the book, but haven't read it yet. The trailer looks amazing though.

  3. LOL. I totally see the K-stew resemblance. I'm not big on zombies, but this movie does look good!

  4. Teresa Palmer? Ohmygod. I really, really LOVE her in I Am Number Four! She's like awesome and seriouly kick-ass. And yes, she does look like Kristen. I just heard of this book, though. I'm going to check this one out.
