  1. Oh look how pretty Scarlet's spine is! I can't wait to get my own copy.

I really liked Masque of the Red Death. It was very interesting, and if you're a Poe fan, I think you'll really appreciate the things Griffin did with the story. The atmosphere was perfect.

  6. I'm currently reading Scarlet... Cinder was one of my favorite books of last year and so if you enjoyed that one... you'll love Scarlet!

  7. I'm torn about Cinder. I never really dug the premise. Although while I was at the Harvard Coop last week for the Pitch Dark event, I saw the hardcover of Scarlet and it was gorgeous. It made me seriously consider buying it just because I liked how it looked. I had to talk myself through walking away, and from keeping myself from going back to where it was shelved.

And Masque of the Red Death looks stunning. I remember this one because Kristi at The Story Siren did an interactive cover blog post and it was different and new and it stuck in my head. Maybe I'll get to it one of these days... haha.

    Thanks for sharing! :)

    1. You should check out Scarlet for sure! I just finished it, and actually really liked it! And I wasn't blown away with Cinder either. I think I gave it 3 stars. But in Scarlet there are so many new and awesome characters!

  9. Yay for both! I LOVED Scarlet - so good! Masque of the Red Death was okay for me - I'm hoping that the second book is better and brings the true story of Poe to the table!
    Enjoy both! :)
