Why I'm Waiting...

It's no secret that I'm a science major in college, or that I have a vast love for all things sci-fi related. So when you throw around words like "DNA" and "enhanced genes" I'm already salivating. Plus, this synopsis reminds me of one of my favorite movies starring Ethan Hawke: Gattaca!

Needless to say, I'm craving me some Control. With a release date the day after Christmas, I'm thinking that this one would look mighty fine in my stocking ;)

Have you heard of this? What are you waiting on? Don't forget to leave you links in the comments!

  1. I haven't heard of Control before but it definitely sounds promising! I'm not a huge sci-fi fan, but the plot seems to be really interesting and I can't wait to read the book.

  2. Awesome pick! This cover is one of the best I've seen in a long time. I really like the colors! Plus, the summery looks really awesome as well. I definitely can't wait for December!

  3. I love sci-fi, too! I'm glad to see so much explode on the YA scene lately. I don't know much about this one, but the summary and your comparison to Gattaca mean I'll definitely be picking it up. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I saw this one recently somewhere else and immediately wanted to read it. Very excited for it!
