Tandem (Many-Worlds, #1)
Tandem
by Anna Jarzab
Series: Many-Worlds #1
Publisher: Delacorte Books for Young Readers
Release Date: October 8th, 2013

Everything repeats.
You. Your best friend. Every person you know.
Many worlds. Many lives--infinite possibilities.
Welcome to the multiverse.

Sixteen-year-old Sasha Lawson has only ever known one small, ordinary life. When she was young, she loved her grandfather's stories of parallel worlds inhabited by girls who looked like her but led totally different lives. Sasha never believed such worlds were real--until now, when she finds herself thrust into one against her will.

To prevent imminent war, Sasha must slip into the life of an alternate version of herself, a princess who has vanished on the eve of her arranged marriage. If Sasha succeeds in fooling everyone, she will be returned home; if she fails, she'll be trapped in another girl's life forever. As time runs out, Sasha finds herself torn between two worlds, two lives, and two young men vying for her love--one who knows her secret, and one who thinks she's someone she's not.

The first book in the Many-Worlds Trilogy, Tandem is a riveting saga of love and betrayal set in parallel universes in which nothing--and no one--is what it seems.

Why I'm Waiting...

That cover! Beyond gorgeous. I haven't read any books about "alternate" worlds yet. Krista devoured Pivot Point in one sitting, and the idea of two different worlds harks back to that novel (or at least that's what it reminds me of). But this one sounds super cool with the addition of Sasha as a princess. Mix in fantasy with science fiction and I'm there.

  6. I LOVE this cover too! And omg Anna can write almost anything and make me love it. She's the one who pushed me to reconsider mystery books again because her debut book was awesome! Really glad to see her explore outside of contemporary and into sci-fi :D The idea of the parallel universe, her pretending to be a princess, and trying to avoid a war sounds interesting. Plus we have a romance! Complicating one but still :) But wait, is she married in one universe?! X_X

-AWESOME pick as always Becca :D

  10. Alternate realities are SO popular this year! I am a HUGE Anna Jarzab fan ever since her first novel so I'm ecstatic for this book to come out! The premise is so unique and intriguing, and nothing like Anna Jarzab has written before. I can't wait to see how it turns out. :D
