by Isla J. Bick
Series: Dark Passages #1
Publisher:  EgmontUSA
Release Date: February 11th, 2014

Ilsa Bick’s WHITE SPACE, pitched as The Matrix meets Inkheart, about a seventeen-year-old girl who jumps between the lines of books and into the white space where realities are created and destroyed – but who may herself be nothing more than a character written into being from an alternative universe, to Greg Ferguson at Egmont, in a two-book deal, by Jennifer Laughran at Andrea Brown Literary Agency (NA).

Why I'm Waiting...

I've never read Inkheart but I love the premise and...hello Matrix! This book looks like it's made of awesome. And that cover -- they're birds right? Ink birds? So cool. I'm already obsessed with this book. And if it's a duology (which is what the synopsis says) that makes it even more unique! Can't wait :)

Have you heard of this? What are you waiting on? Don't forget to leave you links in the comments!

  1. I haven't read Inkheart either but it is an interesting idea to be able to jump into the pages of a book. That mixed with The Matrix does sound awesome.

  2. OMG! I've been seeing this one around and I AM SERIOUSLY PUMPED to read it! I've SEEN INKHEART, which I know isn't the same as reading it, but still pretty awesome concept! And right?! The MATRIX XD I'm pretty sure those are birds, i thought they were ink stains *had to get up close with the cover*

  3. I've never read anything by Isla J. Bick! But I did see this one on Edelweiss. Inkheart was an AMAZING book! The first one, anyway. The second one was okay, but I wasn't a huge fan of the third one. But that's just me.

    Check out my WoW post!

  7. I've never had good luck with Egmont books, so I tend to avoid them now. Curious about what you think!
