Giveaways: YA Book Exchange [9] AND Ricochet Blast

Two Very Special Giveaways

Don't know what YABE is? Check out the amazing books up for trade HERE! (Panic by Lauren Oliver is up for trade right now!) There is also a Goodreads page as a place for questions and forum.

So almost one whole year ago (we'll reach the exact date in late October), Krista had this very crazy idea on an airplane, flying home after a Dallas wedding. She said, "I want to start a trading website. Something that's easy for every YA blogger, but anyone can use it." Of course I don't remember her exact words. But it went something like that. I am an extreme doubter. So I said, "That's impossible to do well, but you can try." And she did. And it worked! And it looked absolutely amazing!

Because it's a huge undertaking, I actually manage it equally with her. It's a lot of work, but we love it. Trading has become a second main source of books for us and we've saved tons of money. We hope you have too! And in spirit of the website that is dubbed YA Book Exchange, we're holding a giveaway that's long overdue.

Giveaway Details

Current Stats: We now have well over 4,000 books up for trade and roughly 170 regular traders. I remember when there was only 4 names on our current traders list. Pretty crazy how far we've all come! We've expanded the international category to UK, Canada, and Mexico, and thankfully for international traders, we have more and more people willing to ship there each day. You may not know this, traders, but every day at least 10 people have successfully traded a book. Our email never stops, and we love that you guys are getting the books you want. As the trading grows, so eventually will the site. But we're not quite there yet.

Bonus Entries: It's not a requirement to participate in the YA Book Exchange to enter, although current traders will receive bonus entries for their support. This giveaway wouldn't have been possible without them! And more participation means more giveaways in the future. We may have one for YABE turning one year old ;)

The Prize: All YA Book Exchange giveaways will have the same prize: A mystery book from the winner's wishlist. These giveaways will normally only last 7 days.

    1. When you click onto a book for trade, you'll notice that there's a side bar. The side bar contains GFC, Bloglovin' and any important updates. It's also where the trade archive is in case you want to search by title ;)
