PARANORMAL

Thornhill by Kathleen Peacock
Releases September 10th 2013 by Katherine Tegen Books

Bonus Tidbit: Sequel to Hemlock this series is one of the best werewolf stories I've read in a while. For any fans of love triangles, murder mysteries, and plentiful drama they will fall for the book. Think True Blood only focused solely on the wolfish species.

The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater
Releases September 17th 2013 by Scholastic Press

Bonus Tidbit: If you've never read a Maggie Stiefvater book, I suggest starting with The Raven Boys. She writes characters that you have to love -- even with all their flaws. While I'm not too big a fan of this cover, I'm hypnotized by the rating. Currently a 4.42 with over 700 ratings! That's crazy good.

SCIENCE FICTION

All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill
Releases September 3rd 2013 by Disney Hyperion

Bonus Tidbit: There hasn't been a book hyped so much since Rick Yancey's The 5th Wave. Seriously, everywhere I look this is getting 5 Stars. A successful time travel book is hard to come by. If you believe the hype (like me) then it's a pre-order for sure.

THRILLER

Facade (Games, #2)Find Me by Romily Bernard
Releases September 24th 2013 by Harper Teen

Bonus Tidbit: Hackers! Yes! Fantastic writing! Double yes! Becca read and reviewed Find Me with a stellar 5 star rating. Find Me is Bernard's debut book. If you're a fan of mysteries, swoony guys, creepy vibes and twists, then this book is for you. Be prepared for an amazing thriller.

FANTASY

Facade (Games, #2)Antigoddess by Kendare Blake
Releases September 10th 2013 by Tor Teen

Bonus Tidbit: Kendare Blake wrote the popular Anna Dressed in Blood and its sequel. Combining goddesses and gods with a touch of horror seems right up Blake's alley. Mythology in the modern world with humor, blood, and Kendare Blake. Sounds like a winner.

CONTEMPORARY

Facade (Games, #2)Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Releases September 10th 2013 by St. Martin's Press

Bonus Tidbit: September is the month for hyped books, and Fangirl falls into this pile as well. Rowell is the author of contemps Eleanor & Park and Attachments. This book has had rave reviews and...it has twins in it! Being a twin, I really can't wait to get my hands on this one.

  1. I can't wait to read Thornhill & All our yesterdays! I've seen some mixed things about Find me, but it looks creepy and I love the sound of Antigoddess :) I still haven't read The raven boys *shame on me* and I'm not such a fan of contemorary, but Fangirl sounds adorable :)

    1. Krista is obsessed with Hemlock. I can't speak for her (but I will in this case) and say that I think it's probably her favorite werewolf series of the bunch!

  8. I really enjoyed Hemlock, but sadly, Thornhill disappointed me. D:
It was so slow and predictable.
I hope you and Krista will enjoy it more than I did! (:
