Stacking the Shelves [55]

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews featuring books added to our shelves and sharing our excitement for them.

This stacking the shelves is long overdue. We haven't had one in almost a whole month, and I'm sure I forgot to include some books. But here are the new lovelies on our shelves:

For Review

Othersphere (Otherkin, #3)   Secret (Elemental, #4)

Becca LOVES Brigid Kemmerer's Elemental series, so she actually squealed when Secret came in the mail. Neither of us have read the Otherkin series, so if you're a blogger/reviewer who'd like Othersphere to review, then let us know in the comments. We'll send you our ARC since we know it can find a better home.

Big thanks to KTeen for these books!

For Review (Digital)

Cruel Beauty   Timestorm (Tempest, #3)

Just downloaded Cruel Beauty and I'm ecstatic to review it. And that cover gah! So pretty! I'm in the middle of Timestorm right now it has to be my favorite book in the series. Seriously epic.

Big Thanks to Harper Teen, Edelweiss, and Julie Cross!!

Traded via YA Book Exchange

Amy and Roger's Epic Detour   The Demon Trapper's Daughter (The Demon Trappers, #1)   The Lost Sun (The United States of Asgard, #1)

Thanks to Christy and Dana for these awesome trades :)

  2. I've had a copy of The Demon Trapper's Daughter for SO long now. Seeing it here has renewed my desire to read it. Hopefully I'll find some time for a 'me' book soon! I hope Cruel Beauty is awesome - I heard it was a mixture of all sorts of fairy tales including Blue Beard so I'm really excited for that one!

  3. YAY you got Secret! I am *dying* to read that one. It will probably be quite amazing, since all of Brigid's books are fantastic! And that's cool that you got Cruel Beauty! I downloaded it from Edelweiss a few months ago, but no need, because Harper randomly sent me an ARC. It sounds sooooo good! And it's gorgeous :D

    Have a fantastic weekend!

    Check out my STS post!

  5. Amy and Roger's Epic Detour sounds fantastic! I think I'll read it during spring or summer though. I should probably read Cruel Beauty soon since you liked it! Plus, I've never read a Beauty and the Beast retelling. Hope I like it as well.

  8. I would completely recommend Othersphere. I've read the first two books and they're definitely unique and different from the majority of YA out there. Otherwise, great haul!
