Top Ten Book Covers I'd Frame As Pieces of Art

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

These covers are basically art and we all need to pause for a moment of silence to thank the cover designers. I bow down to you all!

1. Across the Universe by Beth Revis

Probably my most favorite cover out of any book. I could stare at it all day. I took the cover changes for this series pretty hard. :,(

Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1)

2. Splintered by A.G. Howard

Alice in Wonderland + YA Book = BEAUTIFUL!

Splintered (Splintered, #1)

3. Foresaken by Lissa M. Stasse

This is like the minimalist Indie art version of YA covers and I freakin' love it!

The Forsaken (The Forsaken, #1)

4. Crewel by Gennifer Albin

For the life of me, I can't figure out what this is. I know it's a girl, but what are all those swirls???!!! I don't care. It has hypnotized me in its beauty.

Crewel (Crewel World, #1)

5. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

The sexiest PNR romance cover ever! Plus, it's gorgeous, and I'd frame it.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #1)

6.  Tempest by Julie Cross

This cover is beyond beautiful. I'd love to see the "behind the scenes" in creating it. Did the models have to fly or jump off something? Soooo interesting.

Tempest (Tempest, #1)

7. Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge

The stairway makes a rose, you guys! *stares with awe*

Cruel Beauty

8. Imaginary Girls by Nova Ren Suma

This cover looks like photographic art. Insanely haunting and beautiful.

Imaginary Girls

9. The Ring and the Crown by Melissa de la Cruz

This one is just really different. I love how the title almost seems to be coming out of the wallpaper.

The Ring and The Crown

10. Everneath by Brodi Ashton

Best dress award goes to...

Everneath (Everneath, #1)

  1. Splintered is so pretty and shiny in real life. I love all the details :) The ring & the crown is great too, I think it would be great to frame it.Cruel beauty is one of my favorites together with The forsaken. Such an unique cover.

  2. Oh my god I never saw the girl in the Crewel cover until now. I feel like my entire world has just been thrown into craziness O_O

And I really like the cover for Ring and the Crown too; the title is slightly raised on the hardcover, so it's almost like it IS coming through the wallpaper
